Podofilotoxina es un lignano que se encuentra de forma natural y se deriva de las raíces de la planta mayapple, *Podophyllum peltatum*. Se caracteriza por su compleja estructura policíclica, que incluye un esqueleto de dibenzilbutirólactona.
