Descripción:
Niobio, con el símbolo químico Nb y el número CAS 7440-03-1, es un metal de transición conocido por su alto punto de fusión y excelente resistencia a la corrosión. Es un metal de color gris plateado que es dúctil y se puede moldear fácilmente. Niobio se utiliza principalmente en la producción de aleaciones de acero de alta resistencia, que mejoran la resistencia y tenacidad de los materiales utilizados en la construcción y la fabricación.
