CAS 7440-27-9: Terbio

CAS:Terbium is a rare earth metal that is used as a catalyst in the production of synthetic diamonds. Terbium can also be used in the manufacture of lasers, fluorescent lamps and electro-optical devices. Terbium has been shown to have high resistance to calcium binding, which may be due to its ability to chelate with sodium carbonate. This metal has been used as an indicator in human serum chemistry tests and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Terbium has also been shown to inhibit cancer cell proliferation by binding to monoclonal antibodies that are attached to carcinoma cells and fluorescence probes that are attached to DNA. Thermodynamic data for terbium is available from picolinic acid-zirconium oxide reactions, which show an enthalpy change of -8 kcal/mol for the formation of terbium oxide.Fórmula:TbPureza:Min. 95%Peso molecular:158.93 g/mol
