Descripción:
Cromato de dipotasio (K2CrO4) es un compuesto inorgánico caracterizado por su color amarillo brillante y se utiliza comúnmente como reactivo químico y en diversas aplicaciones industriales. Es una sal de potasio del ácido crómico y es altamente soluble en agua, formando una solución amarilla. El compuesto exhibe fuertes propiedades oxidantes, lo que lo hace útil en química analítica y como tinte en la industria textil. El dicromato de dipotasio también se emplea en la producción de pigmentos y en el curtido de cuero.
