The toxicity of 1,2,4,5-tetrachlorobenzene to animals has been studied by observing the effects on aminotransferase activity after oral exposure. Acute toxicity studies have shown that 1,2,4,5-tetrachlorobenzene causes dose-dependent inhibition of enzyme activity following administration.
