This drug is also an antiviral agent that can inhibit coronavirus replication. Voruciclib hydrochloride is used for treatment of malignant tumors due to its ability to inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis in a number of cell lines. This drug has also been shown to be effective against SARS-CoV, which is a type of coronavirus.
