Descripción:6-Benzyl-3-bromo-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-1,6-naphthyridine is a prodrug that is converted to the active form 6-benzyl-3-bromo-5,6,7,8-tetrahydroisoquinoline in vivo. It has been used for the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis. 6BBII has shown to be an effective contraceptive when given at high doses. The drug also synchronizes estrus in animals and reduces bleeding caused by uterine fibroids.
