Descripción:BPP 9a is an enzyme inhibitor that binds to the active site of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and blocks its activity. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has been shown to be effective in reducing inflammation and pain associated with arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, and menstrual cramps. BPP 9a has also been shown to reduce blood pressure in a dose-dependent manner, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of angiotensin II from angiotensin I. This inhibition may lead to decreased vascular tone and blood pressure. BPP 9a has also been shown to have beneficial effects on bowel disease and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis of DNA.
