Descripción:2-Chloro-5-(4-chloro-5-difluoromethoxy-1-methylpyrazol-3-yl)-4-fluorophenoxyacetic acid (2C5F) is a phenoxy herbicide that inhibits the growth of plants by inhibiting the synthesis of fatty acids. It has a synergistic function with glyphosate, which is an agriculturally active agent that inhibits the synthesis of proteins and phospholipids in plants. 2C5F is used to control weeds and other unwanted plants in crops and forests, but it can also be found as an impurity in pesticides. The most common use for 2C5F is as a preemergence herbicide for controlling weeds in lawns and golf courses. It can be found on granules or deionized water.
