Descripción:5-Chloro-3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole is an organic compound that is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals. It is a formylating agent, which reacts with compounds to form a carbonyl group. 5-Chloro-3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole can be used as a precursor for other drugs, such as piperazine and all trans retinoic acid. This compound has been shown to have antihyperproliferative effects against HL60 cells in vitro and has been shown to be metabolized by the liver into hydrochloric acid.
