Descripción:2-Decyltetradecan-1-amine is a methacrylate that can be used as an acceptor in the synthesis of polymers. It has good transport properties and is used to measure fluorescence, voltammetry, and nmr spectra. 2-Decyltetradecan-1-amine can be made into a macroinitiator by substituting it with naphthalene. The macroinitiator can then be used to synthesize tetracene, which emits light at a wavelength of about 434 nm. 2-Decyltetradecan-1-amine is also semiconducting and can be incorporated into devices such as transistors and diodes.
