Descripción:2-Ethylhexyl-2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacrylate is a sunscreen that is used to protect the skin from the harmful effects of sunlight. The chemical reacts with UV radiation and produces a reaction solution that absorbs the rays. It has been found to be toxic to fat cells and skin cells in laboratory experiments, although it is not known if this also occurs in humans. 2-Ethylhexyl-2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacrylate can cause contact dermatitis and should not be used on infants under six months old. It is not recommended for use on large areas of skin due to its potential for irritation. 2-Ethylhexyl-2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacrylate can also sensitize people who are allergic to coumarin derivatives.
