Descripción:Lanthanum trifluoromethanesulfonate is a cationic surfactant that has been used as a catalyst for the polymerization of amines and esters. Lanthanum trifluoromethanesulfonate has shown to have synergistic effects when combined with potassium hexafluorophosphate in catalyzing the polymerization of amines and esters. This compound also has a high salt tolerance, which makes it suitable for use in environments with high concentrations of salt. Lanthanum trifluoromethanesulfonate has shown to have an effect on congestive heart failure, but further research is needed to confirm this. Lanthanum trifluoromethanesulfonate also shows some evidence that it may be useful in treating autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis or rheumatoid arthritis, but more research is needed to confirm this.
