Descripción:2-Methoxy-3,6-dichlorobenzoic acid potassium salt (2MDK) is a plant growth regulator that belongs to the group of chloride compounds. It is an incompletely hydrated salt of 2-methoxy-3,6-dichlorobenzoic acid and potassium. 2MDK has been shown to inhibit the growth of mammalian cells in culture by inhibiting lipid biosynthesis. In addition, this agent has been shown to be genotoxic and have a negative effect on the growth of mice.
