Descripción:Trimethylphenylammonium hydroxide is a quaternary ammonium compound that consists of a hydrocarbon chain with three methyl groups and one phenyl group. It has been used in combination preparations to treat infectious diseases caused by bacteria or fungi. The optimum concentration for the reaction solution is 20-25% in methanol. Trimethylphenylammonium hydroxide has been shown to possess reactivity and structural analysis properties. It has also been shown to be an efficient replication inhibitor, which may be due to its ability to form hydrogen bonds with the nitrogen atoms on DNA.
