Description :2-[[4-[1-(Methyl-11C)-4-(4-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazol-3-yl]phenoxy]methyl]quinoline is a phenotyping agent which binds to surface proteins. It has been used in the diagnosis of inflammatory bowel diseases, where it can be detected in stool samples. The drug can also be used as a visualizing agent for imaging purposes, such as PET scanning and MRI. 2-[(4-[1-(Methyl-11C)-4-(4-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazol-3-yl]phenoxy)methyl]quinoline is a multi kinase inhibitor that blocks activity of tyrosine kinases in tumor cells, inhibiting the growth and proliferation of glioblastoma cells. This drug has also been shown to reduce psychotic symptoms in patients with psychotic disorders.
