Description :Dimebon is a pharmacological agent that belongs to the group of neuroprotective drugs. It has anti-apoptotic and neurotrophic effects, which help to maintain neuronal health and prevent neuronal death. Dimebon also has a synergistic effect with other neuroprotective agents. The neuroprotective properties of dimebon are due to its ability to inhibit autophagy and apoptosis in neurons.
