Acido benzoico, 3,4,5-triidrossi-, estere propilico, comunemente noto come galato di propile, è un composto organico con proprietà antiossidanti. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of a number of receptor proteins, including the hl-60 cell line. Propyl gallate inhibits the metabolism of glucose by inhibiting enzymes involved in glycolysis, leading to toxicity studies for infectious diseases.
