    CAS:
    SAR7334 is a novel small-molecule compound that has been shown in cellular physiology studies to inhibit the activity of two enzymes, the receptor activity and the enzyme inhibitors. SAR7336 has also been shown to block calcium release from intracellular stores. It is believed that this inhibition of receptor activity and enzyme inhibitors can lead to chronic oral toxicity in animals. Furthermore, SAR7334 inhibits cell lysis by nitrogen atoms and inhibits collagen gel contraction through its effects on the ryanodine receptor. The angiotensin system may also be affected by SAR7334 as it has been shown to increase levels of angiotensin II in animal studies.
