The reaction products of 3-bromobiphenyl include phenols and hydroxybenzenes. 3-Bromobiphenyl can be used as an antigen for detection of antibodies and has been shown to have high concentrations in tissue samples. 3-Bromobiphenyl can also be used for the immobilization of activated carbon particles in order to increase the reaction yield.
