Tauro-α-muricholic acid-d4 sodium salt
CAS:Tauro-alpha-muricholic acid-d4 sodium salt (TAM) is a bile acid that has been shown to be toxic in animal studies. It is also a potential candidate for the prevention and treatment of bowel disease, as it has been shown to protect against chemical injury in the colon and promote renal fibrosis. TAM also has anti-inflammatory properties, which have been demonstrated by its ability to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines. TAM binds to bile acids in the intestinal lumen, preventing their reabsorption into the body. This prevents cholesterol from being reabsorbed into the liver, which leads to a decrease in cholesterol levels in the blood. TAM also inhibits mitochondrial membrane potential and decreases human serum albumin synthesis. The effects of TAM are dose and time dependent, with higher doses leading to greater toxicity.Formula:C26H45NO7SPurezza:Min. 95%Peso molecolare:515.7 g/molRef: 3D-ABA61305
