Acido chenodesossicolico (CDCA) è un acido biliare che svolge un ruolo cruciale nella digestione e nell'assorbimento dei grassi alimentari e delle vitamine liposolubili nell'intestino. È una polvere cristallina bianca o bianco sporco, solubile in acqua e in solventi organici come etanolo e metanolo.
