2'-O-Methyladenosine 5'-monophosphate triethylammonium salt
CAS:2'-O-Methyladenosine 5'-monophosphate is a nucleotide that is a metabolite of adenosine. It has been shown to stimulate antibody production and the immune system in animals and humans, and has been used as an immunostimulant in the treatment of viral infections. 2'-O-Methyladenosine 5'-monophosphate also plays a role in oncogenesis, by enhancing tumor cell proliferation. This compound is converted to adenine by phosphatases, which also leads to increased uptake into cells. 2'-O-Methyladenosine 5'-monophosphate competitively inhibits the binding of mRNA to the ribosomes, leading to an increase in messenger RNA levels. In high concentrations, it can inhibit cellular protein synthesis by blocking the binding of aminoacyl-tRNA to ribosomes.Formula:C11H16N5O7P·xC6H15NPurezza:Min. 95 Area-%Colore e forma:PowderPeso molecolare:361.25 g/mol
