Descrizione:Methoxy-mesylate is a crystalline form of 4-(2,6-dichlorobenzamido)-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid. It has been approved for the treatment of cancer and is used as an antitumor agent. Methoxy-mesylate inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to DNA and preventing DNA replication. Methoxy-mesylate also inhibits the synthesis of proteins needed for cell division, which leads to cancer cell death. This drug may be coadministered with other anticancer agents such as fluorine or methanesulphonic acid to increase efficacy. It also has antifungal properties and can be used to treat fungal infections such as Candida albicans, dermatophytes, Aspergillus niger, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, or Microsporum canis.
