Descrizione:Dimethyl methylsuccinate is a pyridinium salt that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other compounds. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of the estrogen receptor by binding to it and preventing the estrogen from binding. Dimethyl methylsuccinate has antioxidant properties and can be used as a matrix effect additive for ruthenium complex catalyzed reactions. This compound is also a potential inhibitor of acyl halides, which are compounds that can react with DNA and proteins, and thus may be useful in chemotherapy.
