Descrizione:1-Phenyl-1,2-propanediol (1PP) is a compound that has been shown to be used in the production of pharmaceuticals, such as carbapenems. 1PP can be used for the synthesis of carbapenems by replacing a ketone group with an alcohol group. The use of 1PP in this process allows for a more efficient reaction and higher yield than other methods.
