Descrizione:4-Hydroxywithanolide E is a natural compound that has been shown to inhibit the growth of breast cancer cells, including MDA-MB-231 cells. It is an antioxidant and may reduce oxidative damage to DNA and proteins by reacting with reactive oxygen species. 4-Hydroxywithanolide E also increases the expression of survivin, which is important for cell cycle arrest and DNA repair. This compound has been shown to induce cell death in vitro through a variety of mechanisms, including reactive oxygen species generation, induction of apoptosis, or inhibition of protein synthesis. 4-Hydroxywithanolide E has also been shown to decrease the size of fat cells in vivo.
