Descrizione:6-Aminothymol HCl is a chemical compound that is an antifungal. It inhibits the enzyme cytochrome P450, which is involved in the synthesis of ergosterol, a major component of the fungal cell membrane. This inhibition leads to a decrease in the ability of candida cells to produce sterols, resulting in their death. 6-Aminothymol HCl has been shown to be effective against Candida albicans and other species of candida, although it does not have any effect on amine radicals.
