The rate constant of triethylammonium acetate is approximately 2.5 x 10-3 M-1s-1 at pH 7.0 and 25°C. Triethylammonium acetate, 1M aqueous solution is prepared by dissolving triethylamine in water and adding phosphorus pentoxide to adjust the pH.
