Descrizione:3-Bromophenylhydrazine hydrochloride (3BP) is a receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor that is used to treat cancer. This drug binds to the ATP binding site of the receptor tyrosine kinase, which prevents activation and inhibits cell growth. 3BP has been shown to inhibit both cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and cGMP signaling pathways in tumor cells. It was also found that 3BP can be used as an acceptor molecule for metathesis reactions and as a fluorophore.
3BP has been shown to have photophysical properties that are useful in solar cells, semiconductors, and in voltammetry.
