Descrizione:3-Butyl-2-heptanone is a purine derivative that is used as a cross-linking agent and sealant for silicone. It can be used as an additive in plastics to produce stable materials with enhanced physical properties. 3-Butyl-2-heptanone is also known to have immunostimulatory effects and has been shown to stimulate the production of cytokines, such as interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, IL-8, and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α. This compound also has antihistamine activity and can be used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of drugs used to treat asthma or allergic reactions.
