Descrizione:4-Chlorophenylhydrazine hydrochloride is a colorless to light yellow crystalline solid that is soluble in water. It is used as a precursor to produce other chemicals and pharmaceuticals. 4-Chlorophenylhydrazine hydrochloride has been shown to react with acidolysis, which can be used for wastewater treatment. It also reacts with benzodiazepines, such as Diazepam, binding to the benzodiazepine site on the GABAA receptor. This reaction leads to an increase in chloride ion flow across the membrane and an opening of potassium channels. 4-Chlorophenylhydrazine hydrochloride can also be used as a fluorescence probe or reaction solution for diazonium salt reactions involving DNA replication or diazotization of aromatic amines.
