Descrizione:Cis-1,4-Cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid is a cross-linking agent that reacts with iron oxides to form a polycarboxylic acid. It has been used as a polymerization initiator for the synthesis of hydroxylated polyesters and copolyesters in organic solvents. The reaction product of cis-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid and dibutyltin oxide is a catalyst for the polymerization of glycol ethers. Cis-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid reacts with hydrochloric acid to produce an aromatic hydrocarbon. FTIR spectroscopy has been used to identify fatty acids in the reaction products of cis-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid with concentrated hydrochloric acid.
