Descrizione:Diethyl (1-(3-(2-chloroethyl)-3-nitrosoureido)ethyl)phosphonate is a diagnostic agent that can be used to detect cancer cells by binding to the surface of malignant cells. It has been shown to bind to antibodies and act as an anti-cancer compound in the treatment of metastatic melanoma, with median survival time increasing from 5.5 months to 29.6 months. Diethyl (1-(3-(2-chloroethyl)-3-nitrosoureido)ethyl)phosphonate can bind to proteins at specific sites, inhibiting the apoptosis pathway in tumor cells and leading to cell death. This drug also has been used in transfection experiments for gene therapy against metastases in mice models.
