Dimethyl N,N-diisopropylphosphoramidite can be used to synthesize hydrophobic sequences, as well as sequences with functional groups such as hydroxyl or amine. It has been shown that the dimethyl phosphoramidite group protects the free radical of tetrazole in the synthesis of tetrazolide.
