Descrizione:N-alpha-Fmoc-Nbeta-1-(4,4-dimethyl-2,6-dioxocyclohex-1-ylidene)ethyl-L-2,3-diaminopropionic acid is a synthetic amino acid that binds to human serum albumin. It has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of prostate cancer antigen uptake in vitro and in vivo. In clinical studies, NalphaFMOCNbeta1-(4,4dimethyl2,6dioxocyclohexylidene)ethylL2,3 diaminopropionate was found to be well tolerated with no significant toxicity. The compound has been investigated as a potential treatment for prostate cancer and clinical development is ongoing.
