Descrizione:Fmoc-DL-nipecotic acid is a synthetic amino acid that is used in peptide synthesis. It has an N-methyl group on the alpha carbon, which can be removed by treatment with mild base to form a carboxylic acid. The amino acid is also used as an enzyme substrate in techniques such as two-dimensional nmr, resonance techniques, and affinity techniques. Fmoc-DL-nipecotic acid has pharmacological properties that are not yet well understood, although it has been shown to be antigenic and arginine complemented.
