It is used for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases, such as Shigella. 4-Morpholinomethylaniline has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria by binding to their surface and interfering with their metabolism. The drug also prevents the formation of harmful products, such as hydroxyindole, which are generated by bacterial enzymes. 4-Morpholinomethylaniline is active against cancer cells in humans and has been shown to be able to kill cancer cells through apoptosis induction or necrosis induction.
