Descrizione:4-Methyl-3-[[1-methyl-6-(3-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-yl]amino]-N-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]benzamide is a basic drug that binds to the calcium binding sites of high molecular weight proteins and has been shown to be effective in treating lymphoproliferative disorders. It is also used as a diagnostic agent for colorectal carcinoma, where it is found to bind to the cancerous cells. This drug can be detected in urine samples by immunoassay and particle analysis. 4MPB is used in clinical pathology to measure the concentration of growth factors, such as erythropoietin (EPO), which are important for the formation of red blood cells.
