Descrizione:5-Methyl-1,3-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid is a nitrile imine that is used as an antioxidant. It can be synthesized from acetoacetate and ethyl acetoacetate. This compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria, including Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria, by acting as an antimicrobial agent. 5-Methyl-1,3-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid has also been shown to have antioxidant properties and can be used to prevent oxidation of oils and fats in food products.
