Descrizione:Trichloro-5-methoxypyrimidine is a heterocyclic compound that has been used in the synthesis of other compounds. It has been shown to have cytotoxic effects in various types of cancer cells and is also effective against non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, relapsed tumors, and carcinomas. The mechanism of action for this drug is not fully understood but it may be due to its ability to inhibit protein synthesis by preventing the formation of lysine specific complexes with the enzymes involved in this process. Trichloro-5-methoxypyrimidine also inhibits neuroendocrine cells which may lead to tumor regression.
