Descrizione:Pyroxamide is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of polymer drugs. It inhibits the synthesis of DNA and RNA by reversibly inhibiting the enzyme activity of histone protein methyltransferase, which is involved in transcriptional regulation. Pyroxamide also binds to cyclic peptides and fatty acids, which are important for the development of pluripotent cells, as well as for neuronal death. Pyroxamide has been shown to inhibit ATP levels and can be used for treatment of infectious diseases or autoimmune diseases.
