Descrizione:(R)-(+)-1-Phenylethylamine is an organic compound that is an amine and a chiral molecule. It has been used to synthesize the caproic acid, malonic acid, and amide. The (R)-(+)-1-Phenylethylamine has been shown to bind to copper ions and form a complex, which then reacts with ammonia or amines in the presence of hydrogen gas to produce the desired product. This reaction proceeds in two steps: first, the amine or ammonia binds to copper ion; secondly, the alkanoic acid or fatty acid reacts with this complex to form the desired product. The (R)-(+)-1-Phenylethylamine has also been shown to have biological properties that are due its ability to interact with x-ray diffraction data, as well as conformational properties that can be observed using supercritical fluid chromatography.
