N-Phenyl-N-[(1,1,2,2-Tetrachloro-2-Fluoroethyl)Thio]Methanesulphonamide has been shown in laboratory studies to be an endocrine disruptor that can affect reproduction and development. This chemical has also been shown to cause developmental defects in rats after maternal exposure.
