Descrizione:Piperazin-1-yl-[4-[[7-(trifluoromethyl)quinolin-4-yl]amino]phenyl]methanone (AZD0530) is a novel, potent and selective inhibitor of the enzyme DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1), which is important for cancer cell proliferation. AZD0530 inhibits the growth of malignant cells in vitro and in vivo. It has been shown to inhibit the progression of renal cell carcinoma in mice. AZD0530 has also been shown to be effective against other types of cancer cells, including pancreatic, breast, and leukemia cells. AZD0530 is currently being evaluated as a potential therapeutic agent for treatment of cancers with DNMT1 mutations.
