Descrizione:Sodium dodecyl sulfate is a surfactant that has been shown to be an effective antimicrobial agent. It has been used to clean surfaces, as an additive in dishwashing detergent, and in hair conditioners. Sodium dodecyl sulfate solution is often used in molecular biology experiments. It can be used as a transfer buffer for proteins or nucleic acids on a gel or membrane. Sodium dodecyl sulfate solution also has been found to inhibit the growth of bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus, when combined with benzalkonium chloride, hydrogen bonding interactions, and plasma mass spectrometry.
