Descrizione:(R)-(+)-TolBINAP is a palladium complex that catalyzes asymmetric hydrogenation. It is a non-symmetrical diphosphine ligand with a terminal alkyne group. This ligand binds to the metal and controls the reaction by directing the active site of the catalyst. (R)-(+)-TolBINAP has been shown to be an effective catalyst for asymmetric synthesis of terminal alkynes. The use of this compound in organic chemistry experiments has been shown to increase reaction time and control over product selectivity, which may be due to its ability to selectively bind to one face of palladium complexes.
