Descrizione:Antipain is a natural compound that has been shown to inhibit the activity of enzymes such as proteases and thiol proteases. It also inhibits the production of inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-2, which are involved in a number of human diseases. Antipain has been shown to have inhibitory properties against cancer cells, specifically HL-60 cells. This compound also inhibits the activity of enzyme inhibitors and substrates, including cathepsin B, cathepsin L1, and thiol protease inhibitors. Antipain is a potent inhibitor of c. glabrata and other fungi that cause infections in humans. It has anti-inflammatory activities due to its inhibition of prostaglandins synthesis.
