It has antiviral properties and can be used to inhibit the replication of DNA and RNA viruses. 2'-O-Methyluridine-5'-triphosphate lithium salt inhibits the viral polymerase, preventing the transcription of viral genetic material. This product is also considered novel because it is not found in nature and has not been previously described in the literature.
