Descrizione:2-Ethyl-6-methylphenyl acetic acid is a metabolite of diethyl maleate that has been shown to be an effective pesticide. It is one of the most potent insecticides found in nature and has a high degree of specificity for insects. The LC/MS technique uses orbitrap as the mass analyzer, which has a high resolution (better than 100000). 2-Ethyl-6-methylphenyl acetic acid is used to detect metabolites in urine samples from women who were exposed to diethyl maleate by inhalation or ingestion. It can also be used to identify the metabolites in urine samples from men who were exposed to this toxin.
